Name a Character!

Put YOURSELF in the
next Mortal Path Book
OPEN INTERNATIONALLY
For Deliverance: Mortal Path Book 3, I offered the opportunity to name a character in the book. The winner was Jill Bakkum, who appears as a medical doctor in the book. Congratulations, "Dr." Jill!

It was a popular idea, and I'm going to do the same for Mortal Path 4, working title Bloodletting.

The rules are simple. You must be 18 or over (no real children in my R-rated books, no way, forget it), male or female. You can choose any character name you want unless it's obscene, and I'm the judge of that. And you must be okay with dying (should I decide that's the fate of your character), possibly in a gruesome manner, in the book, and not be upset about it later, as in sue me for damaging your tender psyche or something.

The role you play is completely at my discretion, but the only things for certain are that you'll have a multipage, "speaking" role, you'll be mentioned in the acknowledgements, and your character will be in book #4 only. You'll have to sign a short release covering these points.

Entering is easy. Use the Rafflecopter form below to login with your name and email, then click on the "Do It!" button. Enter the name you'd like to use as a character name, then click Enter. I won't hold you to that character name if you want to change it later. You're done! One entry per person, please.

The drawing closes to entries at midnight EST on September 30, 2012. A winner will be randomly selected by Rafflecopter on October 1st, 2012 and notified by email. If I don't get an acceptance within three days, another winner will be randomly drawn and notified, and so on.

  3. This is an awesome idea! I really liked reading the acknowledgment to Jill in the last book, so given the opportunity for it to be ME...I had to jump at it. Good luck to all the entries!
