Awards - Vote now!

"A richly told tale of strange magic,
dark treachery, and conflicting loyalties,
set in a well-realized world."—Robin Hobb

I'm thrilled to say that my friend and outstanding author Helen Lowe has been nominated for the Gemmell Morningstar Award for Best Fantasy Newcomer, a Really Big Thing and an honor I'd love to see her bring home. It's a perfect recognition for her.

I'm 110% behind Helen for this award for her epic fantasy book THE HEIR OF NIGHT, the first book of the Wall of Night series. It's so well deserved for her and a way to call attention to her superb books. I'm asking you to please take a moment to vote. We can help make this dream a reality for Helen.

A fast-paced story of fantasy and occult adventure,
astrology and martial arts

Keep those voting fingers poised, because the Gemmell awards have struck again, and with another book with "Night" in the title. I think I'm going to try that myself. Night of Deliverance? Might work.

The cover artist of Kim Falconer's book JOURNEY BY NIGHT, the third book in the Quantum Encryption series, has been nominated for a Gemmell Ravenheart Award for Best Fantasy Cover Artwork!

There's a special twist: the cover artist, Aaron Briggs, is Kim's son! The artwork is beautiful, as you can see above, so please take a moment to help make this a very special win for Kim and Aaron.
